Have you been dying to learn how to fly fish? Maybe you've heard it's relaxing? Maybe you are hoping to fit in like a true Montanan? Or maybe you are just looking to impress your new girlfriend's father?
Well now's your chance!
Join HYP on Thursday, June 25th from 6:00-8:00pm at Spring Meadow Lake for a Fly Fishing Clinic. Matt Hargrave and Jim Murray from Wolf Creek Anglers will show you how it's done and give you a chance to start perfecting your skills. They will be covering the philosophy of fly fishing, where fish live (ecology, reading water), how rods work, and will also be providing suggestions on rivers, creeks, lakes, and other great places to go to this summer.
If you are not interested in learning how to fly fish or if you are already as experienced as they come, we encourage you to join us anyway. We will have a BBQ with food and drinks, so come show off your moves or enjoy some summer weather with friends.
**Please bring your own rods or borrow one, if possible. Wolf Creek Anglers will provide some rods, but the more the better!
If you are not a HYP member or if you are not current with your dues, you will be charged $5 for food and/or clinic participation. The activities and food are FREE for current HYP members!
Folks can sign up for a HYP membership for $30 and pick up their membership card at the event!
