Embrace or escape the summer heat by joining HYP for a casual beach party at Canyon Ferry! We will stake out a spot at the Lewis and Clark Day Use area to sunbathe, swim, and relax. BYO beverages and water gear of choice. HYP will provide simple beach refreshments, details TBD. Friends are welcome, and no need to be a member to join us. To find us, take Canyon Ferry Road out of town. After approaching the lake (approximately 30 minutes), turn right on West Shore Drive, right about where the Yacht Basin Bar is located. Keep going down Shore Drive for approximately 2.5 miles until you see a Forest Service sign labeled Lewis and Clark. If the parking area is full, continue on a little further until you reach another pull off and walk back. The approximate location is here.
