Welcome spring by taking this 1-mile wildflower loop along the base of Mt. Helena. Meet at Mt. Helena parking lot, where we will take off on the brand-new ADA accessible trail. Expect to see identification flags on over 30 different species of wildflowers in bloom along the ADA, Daisy Loop, and Reservoir trails. You will even catch a glimpse of the Montana state wildflower, Bitterroot, possibly in bloom. Should you wish to return on your own during the week, identification flags will remain from May 22nd – May 31st, and a wildflower guide can be downloaded from a QR code on a flyer near the Mt. Helena trailhead. Most of this hike will be easy to moderate difficulty. No registration required.
