HYP and the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation (BMWF) are teaming up for another long weekend of trail work! This project will take us to Webb Lake in the Scapegoat Wilderness where we will be doing some trail maintenance and removing invasive Oxeye daisy. We will depart Helena early on Friday, June 16th and return on the afternoon of Monday, June 19th.
The hike into camp is 6.8 miles with gentle elevation gain. Work will be easy to moderate and involves one day of bending over to pick weeds and one day of light trail work. No prior trail crew experience is necessary, but a can-do attitude is!
The trip costs $65 per person and includes food, transportation, tools, and group gear. BMWF has a limited lending library for personal gear if there are items you may need. This trip is open to all, with priority given to current HYP members. Registration will be open from May 8-24.
There are only 8 spots available on this trip. If you register, but the trip is full and you do not wish to be on the waitlist, your payment will be refunded. If you elect to remain on the waitlist and do not get a spot on the trip, your payment will be refunded two weeks before the trip.
