Join Helena Young Professionals for the first Leadership & Lager, a new every-other-month professional development series bringing local leaders and young professionals together for practical conversations, new perspectives, and meaningful connections—all in a relaxed setting.

For our inaugural event, Helena community leader Brad Schmidt will explore leadership growth through membership: what it means to move beyond simply joining an organization and become an active participant, and how involvement in professional, civic, and service organizations can strengthen your skills, relationships, confidence, and opportunities to lead.

Brad brings experience with organizations including Toastmasters and Kiwanis, where he has taken on leadership and community-building roles.

The evening follows a simple 20–20–20 format:

- 20 minutes — Featured leadership talk

- 20 minutes — Moderated Q&A and conversation

- 20 minutes — Networking and connecting with fellow professionals
