Join Wild Montana and HYP for a hike to Granite Butte Lookout. This hike starts at Stemple Pass TH and is a 4 mile hike to the lookout. An 8 mile hike total with a little over 1,500ft of elevation gain. About half of the trail is in shade. We will hangout at the lookout tower for a break before heading back. Expect this hike to take about 4-5 hours total. We will meet by 8:30am to carpool from the Helena Lundy Center west end parking lot.
