Calling all motivated young professionals!

HYP is looking for fresh faces to join the Executive Board. Do you want to apply your skills, develop valuable leadership experience, organize engaging events, and facilitate relationships with local businesses and nonprofits? Here is your chance to help guide the vision for a growing nonprofit and to get involved in the Helena community. All board officers are responsible for attending a monthly board meeting, attending the annual retreat, coordinating one networking lunch per year, and completing their special office duties described below. Recreation Chair

Do you love trying new things and recreating in our great state? This is the position for you! This person will plan and coordinate recreation events for HYP. The recreation chair plans primarily outdoor events for our membership and prospective members. Past events have included activities such as hiking, snow showing, and bonfires. In addition to planning events this position is also required to attend monthly board meetings and host one networking lunch per year.

Public Service Chair

Do you love giving back to the community and encouraging others to do so as well? Then this may be a wonderful opportunity for you! This person will plan and coordinate all public service events for HYP. The public service chair plans and coordinates with local organizations for service events for our membership and prospective members. Some examples of events include things like beach cleanup, trail work, and Habitat for Humanity builds. In addition to planning events this position is also required to attend monthly board meetings and host one networking lunch per year.

Social Media Chair

Do you enjoy posting on social media and engaging followers? This position could be right for you! The social media chair is responsible for working with Event Chairs and other members of the executive committee to organize and facilitate social media campaigns, post upcoming events, and work on member engagement. Helena can be a difficult place to meet other young professionals, so this position is key in helping HYP reach as many individuals as we can. This position is responsible for hosting one networking lunch per year and attending the monthly board meeting.
