Join us for an online interactive presentation on conflict resolution with Dr. Crystal Armstrong, Ph.D. International Conflict Management. Conflict in the workplace is inherent regardless of your setting. Though often defined as a ‘soft skill’, knowing how to engage in healthy conflict and work toward resolution is an invaluable trait that will make you both a better colleague and better able to advocate for yourself and your own interests in the workplace.
This session has 4 components. First, we will briefly explore the psychological and physiological mechanics of a person in conflict. Then we will review 7 steps to the effective reframing of conflict language. After this, we will apply that knowledge and role-play several scenarios so that participants will have an opportunity to practice the process. Finally, we will debrief and cover any questions.
