What do you do for work and what is your slash (aka what do you do in your free time)?

I am Governor Bullock's education and public safety policy advisor, so I cover everything from preschool, K-12 and postsecondary education to corrections and disasters/emergencies. No day is the same! I have the good fortune to work with great people all around the state to do things like improve access to affordable, high quality preschool and re-think our criminal justice system to save money and reduce recidivism. In my free time, I love to get out on Helena's trails with my  crazy dog (Ollie), cook, yoga-size, and hang out with the people of Helena at any of our awesome breweries.

What do you do for work and what is your slash (aka what do you do in your free time)?

I am the Community Engagement Director for YWCA Helena.  I oversee development, marketing, and our volunteer program.  If you want to know more, attend one of our free lunch tours! They are on the 12th of every month at 12:00pm! 501 N Park!

When I am not sharing YWCA Helena's mission I am with my two children; Bridger and Madison. If I am not with my kids, then I am ideally with close friends cooking dinner, listening to music, and enjoying each others company.

What do you do for work and what is your slash (aka what do you do in your free time)?

I am employed by the Montana Department of Transportation. I utilize infrastructure development processes and perform quality assurance checks upon various paving materials. The Department of Transportation is vital to the State of Montana as it affects every single person that steps onto a sidewalk or drives down the highway. The work has allowed me to understand how local and state government operates.
